EACS SR 10-1 is an international specification, developed by EACS. The standard was developed by CSR and Environmental Experts of EACS and other members representing various governmental organisations and NGOs. It is aimed to integrate social responsibility management into organisations business strategy and to communicate the achievements obtained through certification.

EACS SR 10-1 provides guidance on how businesses and organizations can operate in a socially responsible way. It helps clarify what social responsibility is, helps businesses and organizations translate principles into effective actions and shares best practices from around the world relating to social responsibility. The standard designed to be clear and instructive, even to non-specialists, as well as objective and applicable to all types of organization, including big business, small- and medium-sized enterprises, public administrations, governmental and non-govermental organizations. EACS SR-10 is designed to assist organizations in contributing to sustainable development, encouraging them to go beyond basic legal compliance, and to promote common understanding in the field of social responsibility, complementing other instruments and initiatives for social responsibility.
